Perhaps my last few posts have given the impression that Brambles to Bloom is a solo venture. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Truthfully, I could not do this on my own. From a financial perspective and a time perspective, it simply wouldn’t be possible. Thankfully, I don’t have to. This is very much a family project.
Today’s brief post is an appreciation note to everyone who makes this gardening journey possible.
Brambles to Bloom isn’t just about plants; it’s about people who nurture them. Each of us brings something unique to the table, and it’s only together that we can make this work.
- My mum, who calls this her “Happy Place” and takes charge of all things digging with a joyful, steady hand, whom I have inherited the love of gardening
- My partner, who keeps me in check; otherwise there would probably be a few more hundreds of plants without a home. And strives to remind me that this is a place that we need to sometimes just stop and enjoy. I am always itching to keeping ticking of jobs from my to-do list I often forget to just sit down and enjoy it.
- Our nieces and nephews, who are inspired by the outdoors and remind us to see magic in the everyday.
- A small circle of neighbours and friends who trade cuttings, lend tools, and share fresh ideas. The sense of community is a living, growing thing.
- Our dogs, who get as much enjoyment from it as we do and remind us to pause for a moment of sniffing, sun, and soil. Their wagging tails are tiny thank-you’s that keep us striving on to achieve our goals

What this means for the blog is that Brambles to Bloom is a tapestry of voices, not a single thread. We each have our own projects and goals, and many shared aspirations that weave us together.

We’re still in the early days, with a long road ahead. So far, most of our work has been about clearing space and putting up fences—a true team effort. Individual flair hasn’t had its moment yet, but that time is coming. You’ll start to see our shared ideas blending with personal touches, coming together in collaborative harmony.
If you follow Brambles to Bloom for the plants and gardening insights, I invite you to stay for the people. The garden is our shared canvas, and I’m grateful to have so many hands helping it grow.

Thank you for reading, for commenting, and for being part of this journey. Here’s to many more blooms—and to the teamwork that makes them possible.
